Biking in the Heat!

I am in a new area now and it has been really great so far. To start off I do not have a car like I did in my last area. I would go on bike once a week in an exchange and the weather would be nice. So now that it's getting hot, now I'm put on bike. It is pushing a hundred and people are saying over and over again that it's going to get worse.

I bought some super cool sunglasses though, and it also helps we live in the middle of our area. We could walk to a few of our appointments but biking gives you a breeze instead of cooking and walking in the sun. 

Also I know my last name is Garcia, but I don't know Spanish. I've had to tell way too many people that and I feel so guilty for not knowing Spanish. I have my dad to thank for that. His name is David Garcia if you ever want to talk to him. It would be so nice to know Spanish. My Portuguese is coming along, or at least I think it is, I don't know because nobody here speaks Portuguese and I am not in Brazil. I still haven't heard anything back but I am preparing myself as much as I can and enjoying my time here. 

Our lessons have been going really well, not as much going as my last area but maybe I can help change that. My new companion is awesome and I'm excited to work with him this transfer, he is from Texas and is really cool and has a strong testimony of the Gospel. My studies have been going really well, I am almost done finishing the Scriptures in Portuguese! I will study the language as best I can lol. Have a great week!
