Favorite Week on Mission!
22 MAR 2021
This was my busiest and funniest week since I have been on my mission. In my Trio companionship we received another Ward along with our new companion since my first companion went to Brazil.
So me and Elder Evans’ new companion Elder Horstmann have been getting soo much work done and get along really well. Our personalities clicked and we have been having a blast. Horstmann is an outstanding missionary and super diligent and funny. We have no downtime and haven't been able to meet with members this week.
One of the non members we are working with has been making serious progress and we are preparing him for his baptismal date. We are super excited for him and he has a strong testimony.
So just some insight for my companions, one of them is a hardworker and funny and fun. The other is funny and fun but frankly a slob and a goof. And annoying at times but I love the guy. I have laughed so much this week. And I'm really glad I got to be with these Elders.
So this week we have made an extra effort to talk with every single person we see. So as we walk around we have just been striving to talk to as many people as we can. We pray that we can find someone each time and we have met 3 people that agreed to listen to a message. It is really exciting when someone is friendly and then agrees to talk more about Christ. Our schedules have been packed but we are meeting with them this week.
I have noticed that as I have been reading the scriptures and praying and constantly invite the Spirit the opportunities have increased and its been great.
I have not heard anything from Brazil just the fact that my companion left to Brazil. We are working really hard in Arizona Mesa and making serious progress with many people. I really would love to see all these through to the point where each person can take their conversion and testimony and strengthen it themselves and through Christ.
I really want every week to be busy like this and have a good time with the other Elders I had the privilege to meet. Have a great week!
