Biking in the rain!

FEB 01, 2021

So things are going so great right now, im staying very busy, covid restrictions are not as bad as California right now, I dont know if thats a good thing or a bad thing. But we have been teaching a lot of non members and finding new people to teach.

Me and my companion have met a lot of people that smoke and we do our best and we are spreading the Gospel. So because my companion is a DL I have to go on exchanges once a week so I have been meeting new people and its actually been really great. I also have been meeting soo many and I try my best to connect with every single one of them. I feel I make good impressions with these people I make them laugh and when I teach I really strive to invite the Holy Ghost.

Also on these exchanges ive been using bike even in the rain we got going on, I was soaked but it was actually really fun, we walked into this families house just soaked from the rain it was super funny.

Lately I have been leading lessons which has been really cool, my Ward did a great job preping me for teaching lessons. I still have a lot to learn and im definitely learning every day.

We also have been able to schedule a lot of service which also has been really cool, we stopped by someones house and cleaned up their huge yard and picked up horse poop and pet their goat "HAIHAI". (Hayhay).

I have developed a strong relationship with my roomates as well. The spirit is strong in our apartment and I really have noticed a difference with how much we are in tune with the spirit. To the point where it is very obvious if the spirit isnt with us. At the end of the day we shared funny things and talk and we share spiritual things it really is great!

So two funny things also happened

1.) We met someone named Brother Butt.

2.) We knocked on someones door and this girl interupted us as we were about to introduce ourselves and says "OMG NO BS I WAS A MORMON BUT NOW I CONVERTED TO CHRISTIAN"---slams door-

That was pretty funny lol we got the door slammed like 3 times that night. Satan was really trying us that night because he knew we wouldve baptized all of them, if we got the chance to speak.

This week was really great Im learning a lot and still practicing my Portuguese, a couple Elders in my Zone got sent back to their missions and one of them was Brazil! I'm making sure I am focused on where I am because I have met a lot of great people but I also am excited to go to my orginal call!
